I listened to the Sky album last night and forgot how good it was but I'm going to pass on the vinyl. I really do need to be more picky going forward. Shelves are almost full.

Shout out to the postal service for leaving my Question record in direct sunlight on a 90 degree day for six hours

They always do this to me and I have a porch with shade they can access if they walk a few more steps.

 

A postal worker would say this.

 

75% of my front porch is in direct sunlight from 10am to 8pm in the summer. The part it was left in is not the 25% that’s always shaded. Am I supposed to not be at work?

Yeah, it was left two feet from the part which is always shaded. We’ve had the same postal lady for 17 years. She’s left other stuff on the part before so I think she’s aware.

Not a fan of the sticker placement on the Emery record. Any tips on how to minimize damage when I open it?

 

Glad to know TSL is a 12” tho! For a similar sticker situation on Charli XCX’s BRAT, I just used a knife to carefully slit it along the side the sticker was on. I think the only other ones I know of that used that sticker placement recently was Mumford and Sons.

 

It was annoying when they did that for the CD version, and it's still annoying now. A good sharp knife would probably do it.

 

Very curious to see what the TSL smash looks like compared to the mockup.

 

Too lazy to take a photo of the record but it’s very close. Smash variants tend to be unique though so other copies may not look that good.
