I listened to the Sky album last night and forgot how good it was but I'm going to pass on the vinyl. I really do need to be more picky going forward. Shelves are almost full.
Shout out to the postal service for leaving my Question record in direct sunlight on a 90 degree day for six hours
They always do this to me and I have a porch with shade they can access if they walk a few more steps.
75% of my front porch is in direct sunlight from 10am to 8pm in the summer. The part it was left in is not the 25% that’s always shaded. Am I supposed to not be at work? Yeah, it was left two feet from the part which is always shaded. We’ve had the same postal lady for 17 years. She’s left other stuff on the part before so I think she’s aware.
Word. Not a fan of the sticker placement on the Emery record. Any tips on how to minimize damage when I open it?
Glad to know TSL is a 12” tho! For a similar sticker situation on Charli XCX’s BRAT, I just used a knife to carefully slit it along the side the sticker was on. I think the only other ones I know of that used that sticker placement recently was Mumford and Sons.
It was annoying when they did that for the CD version, and it's still annoying now. A good sharp knife would probably do it.
Too lazy to take a photo of the record but it’s very close. Smash variants tend to be unique though so other copies may not look that good.
The Good Charlotte Motel Du Cap green midnight variant seems to have two very different final versions. I got what looks like a green / black marble, but I think others have gotten a green / black smash.
Hey team, this has probably been asked before, but was having trouble searching it. Does anyone have a recommendation on sleeves for thicker albums (double discs, unique packaging)? I have these for most my collection, but got about 20 records that do not fit. Thanks for the help!
lighter fluid will easily get stickers off of an album cover as long as the material isn’t matte paper finish.

wall-mounting a 3x3 Kallax. yes or no? i didn't mount my 2x2s since they were pretty stable, and the only thing going on them was my turntable. but i'm gonna put in an order for a 3x3 later this week, and with the extra height and weight, i'm wondering if it's recommended to mount this one.
