I’d love This May Be The Year I Disappear on vinyl. Was obsessed with that album when it came out.

 

Oh FBR albums that need to be pressed? Give me October Fall.

 

It’s more that outside of doing nostalgia tours for albums like Sing The Sorrow, AFI has lost a lot of popularity over the last few albums.

 

I don't know about that. Don't bands just want more control, and these smaller labels allow that?

 

AFI still sells out mid sized venues no problem without any nostalgia tours, which they literally haven’t done a nostalgia tour, they played one show in California at the forum playing it in full lol

 

Looks like Hole’s CELEBRITY SKIN is the next Interscope VC release, with pressing details coming “soon”.

I miss these guys.
I saw them tour this record in Toronto. I bought their album at the show and spoke with John afterwards. I said something along the lines of "Man, if the album sounds like what I saw tonight, I'm stoked." And John replied "It doesn't."
HA! I was hooked ever since.

 

that's a great story! i never got to see them but i believe they are still active, but john cardwell isn't in the band anymore
