Alongside Moving Mountains, the rest of my recent pick up. Albums/Singles that are drastically different from one another. Like the great Matt Nathanson says "I like music more than I like people".
I know this thread has talked about albums that NEED to be pressed, but Beneath These Fireworks is probably a top 3 for me.
This is how I felt with American Candy! Seeing everyone posting their copies weeks ago and I'm like...
Agreed!! Hopefully he can make it happen one day. I'm sure it's tied up in the usual major label red tape nonsense that plagues all our vinyl wants/wishlists. I still need to find a copy of Last of the Great Pretenders. There's one on Discogs right now. I want it but not $500 want it. In a similar realm/genre I would love Augustana "All the Stars and Boulevards" and a repress of "Can't Love, Can't Hurt" and also an official repress of Lifehouse "No Name Face".
I’ve never heard of Moving Mountains but I’ll queue up their new album for my morning commute. Also shit I’m gonna pretend like I didn’t see those Charli represses. I’ve already spent a small fortune on vinyl this month.
Fandango doing a free 7” of the Fantastic Four theme with purchase of 4 tickets. Wonder if that one winds up being kind of limited.
Ended up with the IVC Audioslave release, forgot I did 3 months to guarantee AVA. Glad I did, forgot how good this album is and pressing sounds great to my ears.
So happy to finally own Sucker. I had been looking at eBay over the last few months and had to stop myself from paying $150. Thankfully I have everything else being repressed so I won’t go overboard
had i not just filled out second Kallax (and were i not moving in 3 weeks), i probably would've considered some of those Charli represses. oh well
I got very lucky on Last of the Great Pretenders and got a copy from Shuga Records in Chicago in 2020. Would also love to see At the Point (his first live album) or his EP When Everything Meant Everything pressed. Matt is the kind of artist I would envision wanting to release his full discography one day. But as I understand it, you're right that Universal is still holding onto the masters.
Picked up a grail – Sugar Ray S/T – on Discogs. Condition is a little lower than I'd prefer, but the price was right.
Preorders for the new Jay Som record are live - Zia and Turntable Lab have up very limited pressings of /150 and /100 respectively. Other variants can be found on Polyvinyl - Jay Som - Belong (Zia Exclusive) Jay Som: Belong (Colored Vinyl) Vinyl LP - Turntable Lab Exclusive - LIMIT 2 PER CUSTOMER - PRE-ORDER Jay Som - Belong
NFG put up leftovers of their Catalyst tour variant. Catalyst 2xLP Tour Edition (Baby Blue/Sea Blue/Highlighter Yellow)
snagged this one. My favourite cover yet Any word if these are being released elsewhere? Hoping that the UO exclusive refers to the pressing - rather shop elsewhere
