Didn't mean to offend, pretty sure a lotta y'all are actually dads. Anyway, you like what you like. Not to brag, but only like a fourth of my collection is either soundtracks or male artists, everything else is by female artists or female fronted bands. But also, aside from some early Jimmy Eat World or Green Day, nothing I own came out before the year 2000...
I own 10 of those records. And all of them were from someone else’s collection. So didn’t pay a dime for them.
It’s literally just the most collected records on their website. People need to collect more female artists
yeah but in general ppl should listen to more female artists, watch more female led films, read more books written by women, etc. etc. the number of men complaining whenever a game in their favorite franchise has an "unfuckable" female main character to play as is appalling
I'm a woman and I enjoy collecting both female led bands/artists and old man boomer shit. I contain multitudes.
Of course, put in an active effort to listen to women and nonbinary artists. But multitudes is best. No one should impose limits on their own enjoyment. The record collections i respect the most are the ones that are most diverse
I'm interested in Standing on the Shoulder of Giants, Dig Out Your Soul and Don't Believe the Truth. Will shoot you a DM. Edit: Nvm, won't let me view your profile. How much for all 3?
contemplating buying a copy of jay z's mtv unplugged vinyl from ebay. 200$ after tax/ship. alot more sensible than the 1400$ rocnation wants for the crate of his discography (which the unplugged album isn't one).
New listing is up for the Nimrods soundtrack: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0H639C7ZK/?tag=absolutepunk-20
Truly none of those I'd bother owning because I can't see myself actually listening to them. I've heard those records a thousand times and don't need to have them taking up space on my shelf when I can turn on any classic rock station and hear them.
Guilty. I've had a theory for a long time that there's a good number of people my age who listen to The Beatles because they've become one of those bands you're just supposed to like.
