Right out of college, I did some writing for a culture site (that paid criminally little money) and one of the posts I wrote was about awesome songs that are longer than eight minutes. I believe my top five was: 1. Bruce Springsteen - Jungleland 2. Iron & Wine - The Trapeze Swinger 3. Something Corporate - Konstantine 4. Bob Dylan - Desolation Row 5. Prince - Purple Rain If I’m making the list now, number 1 is still the same, but “Purple Rain” probably gets the runner-up slot. If the question is songs longer than six minutes, though, that opens up a whole lot of additional options.
Whose dad's collection is that? There's hardly any women in there and none of it is even from this century
i bought my sister a copy of Abbey Road on vinyl for Christmas years ago (and own the old Beatles remastered CD boxset from 2009), but own none on vinyl, nor do i really care to. might make an exception for Rumours and Kind of Blue, but neither are a huge priority
Yeah, like, is it really surprising that a lot of people own some of the most foundational albums in music history?
Got some bills to pay. A few more records for sale. I can provide more info on variant and pricing if interested!
