It looks like both Rough Trade and Loud Pizza have preorders up for Anberlin - New Surrender for any US folks that want to save a few bucks vs. the ship from Canada option.

Since MOV can’t directly sell it in the US, we are paying an import fee to the stores here. Ridiculous, I know.

 

All the MOV records I have sound amazing if that’s any consolation

 

I just need my local store to get New Surrender so I can skip the shipping cost altogether.

 

Agreed on MOV - I’ve learned that their pressings are worth the cost and will prioritize them any time I’m in the market for something they’ve pressed before. I do hope this means domestic retailers will continue to stock them though, even if they have to up the tag price. It’s very satisfying when I find a MOV pressing in a local shop

Label Created, Date Pending is a terrible combination of words. I remember when labels used to ship records so that you actually received them by the release date.

What I really wish I had done was jump on the TEB 20th Anniversary 3LP set with the demos and extras. I have a regular copy, but it's a top 3 album for me and would definitely jam out those extras, especially "Caroline".
