over in the UK they're repressing the most recent Arcane Roots album for RSD. gonna see if i can import it from Banquet for my partner, since it's one of his white whales

 

I had tickets to that show and got COVID. Still pissed that I missed out.

 

I don't love 7"s, but the main things that interest me are the Carly Rae Jepsen, Lucy Dacus, and Matchbook Romance 7"s.

 

Those BLG albums are apparently $100 each

Any time I want a specific record from one of my local shops, I'll text the owner and he'll get in an order for me. I did that earlier today with a few RSD titles and he was on it (I feel like i won't get all the titles I requested, so we'll see what shows up in April).

 

I might aim for Jhene actually, if it ends up being not too expensive. I don't really need another AWKIF

Yeah, you missed it because you can only get it in the "Joy Deluxe Box Set", which is $150. I wanted it too, but no standalone version offered.

Was almost marked safe until I saw Drive Thru comp. I 100% need that, but will try day after leftovers. Not waiting in line for it. Also curious on how many printed. That is my favorite comp of all time and what really expanded my music horizon into the scene.

Why is shipping like $31? Sound of Vinyl is US based, correct?

 

Oof, didn't notice that...I'd recommend waiting on that Amazon listing or check out your local indie record store listings to see if they'd cover it. $31 US shipping is very extreme.

 

They better hand deliver it at that price.

 

I think they have a .us store and a .com — I think the .com is UK.
