Got my thrice Horizons/West deluxe today. And it’s the wrong color way lol. Don’t think I really care enough since everything looks really nice and I waited so long.
Looks like Thrice put the excess deluxe copies on their website. Now I have to decide if I want to get it, even if it is the less ideal colorway.
Went about 2-3 months without ordering any vinyl then 2026 hit and since then I've bought Dashboard Confessional, Courtney Barnett, I Promised the World, Nightmare of You, The Format, and The Academy Is..., and now American Football are teasing. Edit: Forgot about Tigers Jaw in early December. But if 2026 continues on this trend then I'll have to start being more selective lol.
In the next few months there's new releases from The Format, Joyce Manor, Ratboys, Charli, Mitski, Courtney Barnett, Sweet Pill, Snail Mail, probably more I'm forgetting...I'm going to go bankrupt
My Dashboard record is taking the most convoluted route to get here - it arrived at a facility in my state a few days ago, now it's in a nearby state, but looks like it will finally be delivered tomorrow.
this is why i'm glad i don't buy vinyl of everyone--at least not immediately. i can splurge on mitski because i'll be getting snail mail etc on cd. maaaybe if someone gave me a few million dollars one day i'll go back and get all three snail mail records and all the other stuff i only have on cd.
So glad this album finally got the marquee pressing it deserved. Sounds so much richer than the Urban Outfitters single LP from a few years ago. (On that note, if anyone missed out on this pressing and wants the single LP version, I’ll make you a good deal on it.)
I swear Thrice has some of the worst luck when it comes to vinyl. I remember when their merch site leaked the 2nd pressing of the Alchemy Index set and it sold out. Dustin had to go and make a statement about the whole screw up. Then they went and pressed another batch. Albeit, unnumbered.
Added 2 more Kallax shelves to the collection. Champagne Problems. (Also feel free to add me on Instagram) :)
I was thinking of getting a 2x4 to replace the shelf i'm using for my trade paperbacks since the 2x2 I have for vinyl isn't enough for them anymore. So that's like, five cubes out of a dozen total for records and the rest would still be comics.
I've put some of my collection up for sale and will probably add more over time. Reach out if you're interested in anything. https://www.discogs.com/seller/Braydizz/profile
They also printed the lyric sheet for Artist in the Ambulance revisited backwards and had to send out the updated lyric sheet to everyone who ordered.
