Signed Simple Plan vinyl on sale. The records themselves are all black. The only difference is the signature color and they're each limited to different amounts. $60 is the cheapest variant and the $120 variant includes a signed drum head. The Kids in the Crowd (Music from the Documentary Soundtrack)
Mines scheduled to arrive today. The only bummer with IVC for me up in Canada is I'm always getting hit with $21 in duties every time. I guess I'll put aside the black/death metal records to spin some emo classics this evening. Haha
Also friendly reminder to anyone who bought dashboard IVC and doesn’t want their sub to continue you’ll want to be sure to cancel by end of month if you haven’t already!
43 year old me is like why'd you buy this? 20 year old me is singing along to all the words. Haha. It sounds great btw. IVC hasn't disappointed me yet!
New Snail Mail LP announced. It's called Ricochet and releases on March 27th: Snail Mail Plus, a Bandcamp exclusive color here:
I took this photo to send to a friend/fellow vinyl collector. It’s so dumb. I know it’s just a collector’s item/knick-knack, but that price is insane. I know the ‘90s are long gone, but we used to have CD singles like this for $3-5 until iTunes came around and killed it. There’s no way to rationalize $15 for a mini vinyl that’s guaranteed to sound like ass.
Didn’t hopeless records already do tiny records a decade ago? I think I have a Wonder Years or All Time Low one.
I probably won't get new Snail Mail on vinyl since I only have the other two on CD but I'm excited to give it a listen. I was thinking it's been a while since we heard from her
If anyone wants 15 percent off their next Smartpunk purchase. Use my code. I ordered the new Academy Is... album from them and apparently their pressing numbers were incorrect and their pressing is limited to 300 vs 200. As an apology (not that I care) they gave out codes. You're welcome. G31010S1FP8R
We've got Lucky Boys, Autopilot Off, and Home Grown pressed over the past few years. I never thought I'd see any of them. Putting into the world: Rock Kills Kid - Are You Nervous? perfect album for a smart punk pressing
