For any old school RPG fans. Chrono Trigger is getting the vinyl treatment. A bit pricey but it's one of the greatest games ever. CHRONO TRIGGER Original Soundtrack Vinyl LP Box
LMAO. Like that weiner from that IG video who goes and gets his Private Music vinyl graded. That's sick though. I used to have the SNES cart in box with pamphlets and all... I sold it to my buddy in highschool and bought like an ounce of weed that I smoked in one weekend.... Teenage priorities.
Love that TREOS artwork. No idea why the OG pressing from 2010 didn't use it. Almost bought that new pressing solely for it.
I had it all at one point :( sad I sold it. I did keep my copy of the OG Cosmic pressing tho. I’ve always been bummed that neither pressing of TCD is ideal tho. OG pressing has the original track listing but there are gaps in between songs so the transitions are fucked up, particularly the one between This Space… and Mindthings. and the re-press sounds better but I honestly HATE that they switched out the original version of They’re Ready For Us to Come Home for the re-recorded one that was obviously done during the Flies sessions. it doesn’t fit the production of the rest of the album at all lol, and while it is a cool version on its own I genuinely prefer the OG, as it’s always given me a warm and fuzzy feeling. hell, there is a full band demo of that song floating around from the original recording sessions and I even prefer that version to the re-record. baffling thing to do to an otherwise perfect re-issue. sorry for the rant lol
selling 3 kind of rare (?) records from La Dispute, Pianos, and Callous Daoboys if anyone interested - if you are DM me for a private sale https://www.discogs.com/seller/trashpaw/profile
Dumbest. Thing. Ever. Also I thought they were holding a slide of Sicilian pizza. It's still early for me.
it's already bad enough that a 7" costs at least $15 in 2026. pricing a 4" the same is ridiculous. i watched a video of someone testing one of these out and the sound quality is definitely much better than those 3" records they tried pushing out in the US several years back (after seeing prior success in Japan), but it still feels incredibly gimmicky when you could just buy a 7" version and call it a day.
