That's what I said!!! Waiting to see what the band will put up on their site... ALICE IN CHAINS 'ALICE IN CHAINS’ 30TH ANNIVERSARY 2LP (Exclusive – Translucent Highlighter Yellow w/ Black & White Splatter Vinyl)
Been waiting for that Chains album. The BV one is pretty nice. Just going with that one. 4,000 copies though so we probably have some time to decide.
I don't have any issues with my Music on Vinyl copy, but I don't have a copy of the Columbia pressing to compare.
Alice In Chains Official Store The box looks amazing but I just stuck with the D2C ... One of my oldest white whales.
Not sure if this is the same one you're looking for, but the most recent EP is up for pre-order at my local, but nationally-known shop, The Sound Garden here: - King Of Terrors (White Vinyl)
The problem with some of these '90s bands is that everyone assumes (including sometimes the bands themselves, I think) that anything after the peak albums is not particularly in demand and therefore not worthy of a vinyl pressing. So, as a result, they just keep pressing August and Satellites and ignore Desert Life, Hard Candy, and Saturday Nights & Sunday Mornings entirely. Anyway, I continue to not regret buying those bootlegs two and a half years ago.
Oh, nice! Where'd you find them on sale? I've been wanting Superunknown forever but can't find a decent price on it.
Very true. I mean seeing as Interscope is selling this repress, I don't think it's out of their hands to drop some kind of DMM Press of their works after Satellites. I know the original tapes of Satellites and This Desert Life were destroyed in a fire but hell, they'd be silly not to make something happen with the rest of their catalog! With that being said...
The Crows’ Facebook page says this was sourced from the original tapes. Are we sure they were destroyed?
There were rumors going around a couple years back that the Counting Crows masters were recently found. I don’t remember where those rumors were from/ how valid they were, but this gives me hope that they were true!
I’d take This Desert Life and Hard Candy on vinyl over their first two albums any day. Their best IMO.
LNOTGY is ten! Neck Deep 'Life's Not Out To Get You' 10 Yr Anniversary Edition Green, Purple, & Blue Swirl LP w/ Flexi
This Hayley Williams “Team Zissou” variant arrived with me today without any notification from the webstore, so I’m thrilled!
