It won't sound nearly as good as the official pressings, but if you're a completionist and need this in your collection for under $250, then it couldn't hurt. I'd go on eBay and just wait for the prices to drop because it looks like a ton are floating around.

EDIT: I didn't buy one of these so I can't comment on the quality.

The Word Alive is releasing "Deceiver" on vinyl for the first time via their Patreon page. Currently the shop is open for paying members only which is annoying, but I think it goes fully live tomorrow.

Whew, marked safe from the Thrice vinyl as I own them all already. 12 inches for TAI would be nice, but the packaging for the 10 inches is so freaking cool and I don’t need to drop over $100 on these.

 

Kind of in the same boat. I snatched the roughtrade preorder instantly. Then I saw that the B&N price was like 20% less, so i did that too... Not doing anything yet until they put out more details on the pressing info.

I'm very hopeful about these pressings. I remember reading many people were disappointed with how the 10" box sets sound, so hopefully a 45rpm 12" remaster may give these songs some new life! Then my collection will be complete from AITA through M/M!
