Not only did UPS not deliver my Urban Outfitters sale order to my home, they didn’t even deliver to the correct city. So they did deliver it somewhere but they don’t know where.

so choice! i drove down to bloomington/normal last summer to see their reunion show. they were dustin it off before going out east to do those shows with houston calls and it was sick to see a headlining show from em. but them with spitalfield this year was the icing on the cake for sure

  8. first listen, really enjoyed it, lots of fun bops, exactly what i'm looking for right now. I haven't picked up an Avril album in so long because I was always holding onto the emo kid I was when Under The Skin came out, it resonated with me so strongly at the time that I didn't give her more playful stuff much of a shot.

    A vinyl Facebook group.

My copy wasn't sealed. You check Discogs?

It really rocks! I still think Under My Skin is her best work, but I find myself returning to Love Sux more frequently.

    This.

I'll forever love Let Go and Under My Skin.

Let Go was her doing her best Alanis Morissette at times.

Under My Skin was her doing her best Chantal Kreviazuk.

My friends worked at an HMV when Under MY skin was out. When they had to take down the big 4'x4' promo poster of Avril they gave it to me for my birthday haha. Pinned that on my bedroom wall! ;)

  15. Turns out this was not a holiday issue at all and instead just a total fuck up on Universal’s part. They offered to re-ship but of course the record’s not in stock anymore. At least they refunded me quickly :upside:

They fixed your brain when you were young.

IMG_7293.jpeg IMG_7292.jpeg After getting these in the mail today, for the first time in as long as I can remember, I’m not waiting on any preorders. I’ve definitely slowed down on buying anything over the last couple months. Bittersweet.

I've been getting a lot of tracking numbers in the last 48 hours. It seems like the backlog of PO's, Black Friday sales are in the pipeline. Here's some of the recent additions from that.

I cancelled my Sound of Vinyl "free vinyl" order as it's been almost 2 months and they haven't shipped it. First they said my address wasnt registering, then I got 2 other emails saying 2/4 lps I ordered were out of stock?! Well they weren't when I ordered off your site!! I have another order with them and am considering cancelling that... But it has a new copy of Clarity in it!

In 2024 I'm going to try and just go through my collection spinning lps I already own in order to curb the spending.

The nostalgia drops are dangerous. But just because it was the jam 20 years ago, does it really hold up now? I guess it's all subjective but the next few years will be interesting... Especially with vinyl prices getting ridiculous as well as shipping. I feel like I'm rambling...

    Anyways!

Hope everyone has a wonderful holiday.

I feel very content with my collection now. Of course, the next few years will bring a ton of represses I'll want, but at least I'll be buying at retail and not these ridiculous resale prices.

I was scrolling through my Want List on Discogs last night and with a few exceptions, most of them are albums that I only kind of want or are severely unavailable haha or just priced way way too high. I’m blanking on the album, but one was $395. Like, I’m good.

I’ll snag a few more and then just see what gets repressed.

Just hold faith "everything gets a repress".

This year was a testament to that.

No need to drop $300+ on Coheed SSTB or AFI Sing the Sorrow or $100+ on the first 4 Every Time I Die lps.

Still waiting on a Blood Brothers "Crimes" repress. (10 months away and it turns 20 *fingers crossed*)
