B&N deals are kinda shit but I'm tempted to get Soft Sounds just to have it. This store also has like five Jubilee lolol

Grabbed all three TEN represses, and just grabbed I Can Make a Mess's "Silver and Gold". I should probably stop now.

 

I wish they would just send me the things I ordered last Black Friday.

 

drive thru's pricing is outrageous

 

£85 ($107) to get the triple record shipped to me in England. Couldn’t even justify getting the EP’s after that. Luckily I’ve got the For All of This from back in the day. Madness… but I’m one of the suckers who pays it because I didn’t want to miss out.

Presume the Reines siblings are still behind things - so it should be no surprise at all.

On a side note I can’t believe they released these in late November. What a miss.

 

I waited two hours after opening and ended up getting everything on my wishlist, plus a few other things.

I chatted with Ace briefly at a show recently. Asked him if they were seeing any $ from these pressings. Hard nope. They have 0 relationship with DTR.

 

DTR doesn’t really exist. It’s the TTTH people running it all.

 

I would’ve picked up an extra Coheed but they were limiting one per person.

 

made it down to the record store. all the good RSD picks were gone, but they were having a buy 2 get 1 free sale on everything else, so my partner and i ended up with the following:

they also offered to ship back the Thrice and James Blake records i picked up as well, so come next week, my apartment in Pennsylvania will have a box with 8 records in it, and combined with Anberlin, Spiritbox, and Sufjan, that'll amount to 11 new additions, haha.

 

That’s funny you mention Diamond Eyes, because my store had a used white copy for $45. I didn’t know if that was a good deal or not so I held off

 

lol, i wasn't aware there were variants of that one. sounds like a reasonable deal, but i'd check Discogs to be sure.

Is this common or just DTR being shitty?

 

I’m going to guess more common than you think. I’m guessing it all depends on who owns rights, and if the artist is still signed by the record label who put it out. Impossible to know unless artists speak out though.
