Geez, didn't realize there were two options. Stand alone is $75? That's crazy..

Criminal, really. What a joke. I hope no one buys it now.

The band's manager was in the Vinyl Collective forums yesterday discussing it and calling us ungrateful trolls because we were calling her out about the price. I love MuteMath, but the way this was handled isn't exactly great.

This is funny cause the site did the same thing when the first 3 albums were pressed earlier this year the 3 album pack kept 'selling out' then going right back up.

The emotional ride I just went through reading about that MuteMath repress is not cool. Sadly I do not have $75 to drop on that right now, though I would really love to own it. It’s a shame they couldn’t charge something more reasonable.

  6. Jesus that is gross about that price. I was so pumped to read the news about the repress yesterday.

The sad part is I'm weak enough that I still may grab it, that's how much I've been waiting for a repress. Need to find some integrity and figuratively tell the band to fuck off. So fucked up.

I'm hoping after they realize that no one is buying, that they may drop the price some. But then, they have a real problem bc the people that did pay the $75 are going to be furious.

Also, I'm not even sure the $75 is taking shipping into account. Hell, after shipping, you could be looking at $85 for a single album. Yuck.

Expensive put for someone looking to go all in on vinyl and getting a good setup with out to much work.

Picked up PUP's The Dream is Over at their show last night in Hot Pink. I was pretty blown away they were only asking $15 for it, hell of a deal.

That's pretty standard for a single LP especially at a show

I caved and bought the mutemath record.. I was 13 when it came out and I remember buying it on iTunes because I had heard Typical on MTV. It's one of my favorite albums ever and it does say that it'll be the final repress. Long term I'll be happy I bought it, short term it is a lot of money for one album..

I'm right on the fence for sure. It's $75 for a single album...but it's a really good album that has one of my favorite songs of all time. I want to make a stand against price gauging...but I also really want the damn thing. Idk.

I imagine at that price, they will be available a while.

I bought PWR BTTM and Petal recently at shows and they were both $20 instead of the $15 that you can get online through the label. I'd end up paying it anyways with shipping so ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Wow. I feel like for bands at that size it's usually $15 but what do I know anymore.

Forgot about this... how much was it? I have the picture disc and it sounds ehh

This is soo much better than the pic disc. It was fairly expensive. Somewhere around $30. I think it's worth it though. HQ pressing and it even comes in a cool looking "book" style gatefold. However, I was kind of disappointed in the lack of extras inside. Very nice presentation overall. Plus, the alternate artwork is awesome. I can share some pics if you'd like?

Looked at the site it looks pretty cool, what are the two bonus tracks? I bought a bootleg of Hot Fuss before the 180g repress and bought that. Might just have to take another hit and get this too..

One is a demo and the other is a remix (which isn't good).

The demo is incredible though. It's entitled "Peace of Mind". Here it here:

Prices never dip below $20 here. Remember that's in Canadian dollars so it works out to $11.29 USD with the current exchange. I'd say $20 is the standard for bands of that size at a show but you can expect to pay $25 for a single LP at a record store.

It appears that the MuteMath repress has already sold out... I was on the fence about whether I could make ends meet to make this happen, but I guess my decision has been made for me.

What stores do y'all reccomend for buying records online? Putting together a list for gifts - so far Rev HQ seems like my best bet - Run For Cover has a pretty good selection as well but tons of stuff is unavilable and their prices are pretty high (40 dollars for TDAG vs. 28 on Rev)
