I've been collecting since 2011. I've got 496 records in my collection. Damn, that's 38 records a year. That's more than one record every two weeks. Thankfully I've got (mostly) everything I really want. And certainly fifty (or more) of them are some country-soul-jazz records I've grabbed randomly and really loved (otherwise I sell them again) for like not more than five euro each.

I am at close to 200 vinyl. I still have a handful of preorders out as well.

I typically buy in clusters - like, I'll buy 10 in a month then not buy for 6 or 7 months. I also rarely ever listen to my records.

Started collecting in 2012, two years before I even had a record player. Last CD i bought was (I think) Manchester Orchestra's COPE in 2013. I have about 900 CDs and 400 DVDs boxed up in storage in our basement. My wife keeps telling me to sell and doesn't understand why I want to keep them.

A big regret with my CD collection is, I probably only have about half of my actual cd cases and artwork/booklets saved. I have multiple 200+ CD holder booklets that hold just the CDs so I threw out a lot of cases/booklets 20/25 years ago just because I didn't have the space for everything when I was in HS/college. I never bought used CDs but I would venture to guess at least half the DVDs I own are used - as I used to visit Buybacks a ton in high school and college.

I would definitely like to move that boxset and get individual records for Anberlin, but those pressing are so expensive, I couldn't even get NTFP, Cities, and Vital for the going price of the boxset.

I’ve got 95 records catalogued in my discogs. That sounds about right.

My hope is to keep my collection highly curated. I’ve got about 15 records on my wish list. There are definitely a few records in my collection that could be sold. Especially the records where I have two variants.

According to Discogs I have 211 total. Plus I think between 5-7 that are pre-orders or will be delivered soon.

I believe that is the Universal music store, so it is legit. I got either a FOB or blink record from them in the past.

Nice. They say they'll have Jimmy Eat World - Invented in stock on July 9. Worth a shot. Just need Damage now.

Looks like it could be Rufio's "Perhaps, I Suppose". It's listed as "Coming Soon" at the moment.

I need to update my Discogs page, but it is wild to me to see that there's 241 things in the collection there. That, and the range in the Collection Value going from a minimum of $4,590.15 to a maximum of $15,816.93.

Oh. Rufio is tempting, but I’ll pass. The variants look excellent though.

$60 for that one. I was fine with one of the $25 variants. Haha.

is it the same for you? Prestigious

I think the only thing currently on my Discogs wantlist is New Surrender, and I'm constantly in regret of missing out on getting a copy from eBay in 2012 for like $70 because my cell service was not cooperating at a Pita Pit.

Also, I was looking at someone's vinyl Instagram last night and saw that their copy of that record was signed by the band on one of the actual fucking discs.

So my buddy won a build a mage raffle through Wax Vessel. He got to design his own 1/1 mage for their Founddeadhanging release.

He got it yesterday. He had them design it based off of John Carpenters The Thing. It looks fucking ridiculous!

All hand made and super limited.

Goota Groove Records are the ones that produce these.

Labels like Wax Vessel and Heathen Hand (who both specialize in obscure mid to late 00s grind, screamo, myspace deathcore etc) are the front runners with this hand made stuff. Just google their work. It's wild!

Some labels like PGR have had a few Mages. Like Cartel The Ransom EP (with ripped up dollar bills imbedded in the vinyl). Near Mint did a Mage for Daphne Loves Derby "On the Strength of all Convinced".

Thrice Palms has a Wax Mage variant as well!

I have a few handmade Nebula variants limited to /50 and /100 from a Number Twelve Looks Like You preordered.
