    Maybe they're just placeholders?

I think after EVR's tweet saying sorry about doing another Doppelganger repress and not TSSTB, it may have been more of a hint it was coming than an actual apology.

Glad people will finally be able to get SSTB. I cherish my copy dearly.

now I need them to repress Afterman Descension so I can finish my collection

  9. If I don’t get a SSTB, I’m going to be so mad! I feel like that’s one of the biggest holes in my vinyl collection.

The legendary, the underrated and the obscure.

They fixed your brain when you were young.

Interesting seeing you grabbed daytrader! I’ve been considering selling my copy lately to make room. Love the album, just never spin it. Part of why I haven’t gotten rid of it is because I like knowing the record will go to someone who’ll love it dearly and I guess I just assumed that album was a little too obscure to have much interest.

Someone on eBay was selling his collection a few weeks ago because his family needed money. Lots of rare stuff (SoCo, Hopesfall, NFG, Spitalfield etc. ) the guy must've made a couple grand.

He had Daytrader and this other obscure hardcore/indie band from MA called Eulcid. They were both up for $10 each and no one bid on them. I listened to both of these when they both came out back in the day and figured I'd grab them.

Twelve Years was an underrated album of 2012. Sucks they broke up shortly after. Tbh I haven't listened to it in its entirety since then. I'm giving it a spin now and it definitely holds up!

Yeah, I also need those on vinyl. I have the CD special editions, and the Big Beige demos on vinyl, but just need that regular vinyl.

Funny I posted about Lydia "Illuminate" last month. Looks like Near Mint has a repress lined up!

    Trusted Supporter

Going back to an earlier discussion regarding underrated/forgotten bands, I have always liked the records Forging a Future by First To Leave and Dog Years by Last Call. The latter I should have picked up during the pandemic bc it was super cheap. Now I can’t find. I’m not sure if the First To Leave record ever got pressed. Both are highly recommended records. First To Leave is gritty pop punk like Lifetime and early Saves The Day. Last Call was more in that Transit world, but slightly on the more punk side of the early 2010’s.

Yeah I want a TSSTB repress but now that I have Good Apollo IV, I'd say I want IKSSE the most

I think IKSSE was readily available as recently as 2020. That said, I'd expect a 20th anniversary pressing this year.

We reach for the longest shadow

Happy more of y’all can get SSTB.

I’m in Blue Ridge, GA for a short family vacation, and stopped in the record store in their downtown (think mini Gatlinburg) not expecting much, but they actually had some cool stuff. Walked out with the Music on Vinyl pressing of Opeth’s Blackwater Park.

my collection is hyper curated, and I’m not usually a whim shopper, but I might start making exceptions when I check out out of town places, basically my version of a souvenir from the trip.

Does anyone have the "recent" pressing of IKSSE3?

I have the peach marbled variant they were selling during the ten year tour. "40 per show". As cool as it is to have, it's very thin sounding...

I still gotta get Blackwater Park. It's such an amazing album!

I have the black 180g. It’s one of those “remastered for vinyl” repressings. The difference is subtle, but it’s there. Wish they kept it the same, sounds great otherwise.
