You need to find something to isolate your turntable from the furniture it stands on. A cheap fix might be to cut 2 tennis balls in half and put those under the feet of your turntable.

 

If you have a dust cover try removing it while playing as they pick up vibrations easily.

I'm super bummed. Especially after reading instagram comments like "most people who collect limited pressing vinyls aren't even going to play it. I'm not, that's why I have Spotify."

 

Missed the vinyl, missed the pre-sale tickets. What a rough start to the day.

I bought some rubber and cut it to length. Put a square under the turntable itself, then 4 smaller squares under each leg of the turn table. I also put a small square under each leg of the stand that its on. Completely eliminated the skipping when walking around the house.

 

Also grabbed Britney Spears' Baby One More Time from UO. Today started off so disappointing, but has ended fairly well.
