Yeah, I totally get the inclination to just do it “their” way given the chance to fully re-record and release the record. The adjusted tracklisting is a dealbreaker for me on vinyl, but I’m sure they have 1000 other fans not named trevorshmevor that won’t be little purist stinkers like me lol. Looking forward to stream and see if they incorporate any cool transitions into/out of the song to make it feel natural in its new placement!

 

As the person who first officially streamed the album online with “Matter of Fact” later in the track listing … I think my purist puristy stance of it being later is more correct since that’s how I heard it for years until streaming showed up.

 

I honestly can’t recall if he said one way or the other. But this is how they played it on the cruise both on its own and in their Chroma set. My guess is it’ll be closer to this than the original.

 

I completely forgot about this but I think that's how I originally had it downloaded back then. Before the cd was out. Good ol Soulseek and the 30k of mp3s I had.

 

It's like when I had Jimmy Eat World Futures downloaded and it had the song Jen on it! I was bummed it didn't make the actual album because its catchy as hell. But in hindsight it didn't fit the vibe of the album as a whole.

It would've been better on Chase This Light or Bleed.

 

I thought Jen was an album track for so long because of this

 

I can barely remember anymore and no longer have my case of burned CDs, but guaranteed most of them had the wrong track list, extra songs or just flat out songs by another artist. Haha. Music “sharing” days were wild.

 

Got this at Amoeba Music a few weeks back during a weekend in San Francisco. Never heard of these artists before but it sounded too good to pass up. Playing it now and it’s impeccable stuff. Would def recommend to fans of that Mabe Fratti album from last year.

 

Spur of the moment decision to go to Eliza & The Delusionals concert tonight in DC, but glad I did! They chatted with each person who attended in length and signed my two records.

This reminds me of thinking this slick shoes song was Blink-182 longer than I should have

 

I remember this one specifically back in high school. May have been on a burned cd and I wrote it as being a Blink song.

 

I remember on Napster that the Ataris song “1 15 96” was labeled as “Man Overboard” by Blink 182. I knew it wasn’t Blink but I liked the song a lot and didn’t know it was The Ataris until I got really into them a year or two later and heard it on Blue Skies.

Okay I went back and reordered the tiedye after I ordered the Cotton Candy and hour ago... I couldn't decide.
