John // OC now, OH forever.

I’ve got a few of the preorder things still. Thursday did a “Counting 5-4-3-2-1” single that came with City By The Light Divided, Head Automatica had signed posters, Matchbook Romance had a shirt.

Odd bit of lore, I volunteered at a handful of Warped dates in 2005 and got the Smartpunk job after moving to CA because I saw a post here on the main page that they were hiring. Thanks @Jason Tate!

I'd love if they pressed Music on The Brain Vol. 1.

I remember when Smartpunk used to sell unsigned bands cd's. I remember buying The Dangerous Summer's "There's no Such Thing As Science" self release EP. Sold it years later after they became what they did. I'm sure its worth even more than what I sold it for now.

  3. Same and totally agree. Because the other albums seem to have only ok demand, I feel like re-presses are unlikely for them, one of the reasons I decided to grab Rusty now.

Big City Dreams was one of my favorite bands from that era. Still got both their EPs. I also ordered their burnt cd of unreleased songs after they broke up. But that was off their Myspace lol.

I remember we had the early Just Surrender stuff when they were still A Second Chance. I had a copy of that first full length after they changed their name and we’d occasionally get orders for it and the old self released EP’s together. It was always rad seeing orders going to out of the way places where we knew they hadn’t toured yet. I used to have one of the ASC shirts with Ashlee Simpson’s face on it and “Everyone Deserves A Second Chance”.

If I knew what they were worth now, I’d have bought every copy we had of All Time Low’s Party Scene CD.

ICMAM has been delivered, but I’m out on errands. Will post a photo later unless someone else gets to it first.
