I can finally replace my clear RSD I sold a few years back.

 

I never even bought the Blind reissue they did. Might get this one though and wait and see if they ever do a standard black Blind I can actually buy in the UK.

 

I think i’m done ordering records from Amazon. I have no words. Bent in half, no plastic wrap, giant sticker ON THE RECORD ITSELF.

 

Third party? Or Amazon themselves? This is wild (and I'm sorry!)

 

man, I have never had issues with amazon records but see horror stories like above. at least you know they'll likely replace it for free

 

Amazon themselves! I would say with no exaggeration they mess up 50% of my orders. Usually it’s them sending the wrong record. This is the first time in a while and maybe the worst example i’ve had of them delivering something in this bad of shape. Any time or money I save ordering through them gets negated by me having to facilitate returns/go to the UPS store.

That's maybe the most insane Amazon vinyl story I've seen. Almost comical, if it didn't ruin such a great record.

 

Is it regional? Mine always come packaged the same way, no issues

 

It’s completely different every time I order. Sometimes they’ll be in a cardboard mailer, sometimes a mailer inside a bigger box, sometimes loose inside a bigger box with no mailer, and sometimes they put it under a garbage truck and drive over it a few times.

 

Amazon have improved for my vinyl shipments, but I still don't trust them.

 

Amazon is fairly reliable, but I did recently get a 7" in a large box... and it wasn't very pleasant looking

Been hit or miss with Amazon and vinyl for me. Most of the time it’s fine, but def had some bad ones

Just a new vinyl master, I assume, which they would need to do anyway to get the "Survive" intro on there.

 

Just got tracking for the IVC I, Empire. I have a feeling I'm going to get hit with duties again since this one is coming straight to my place. Ugh
