Parting Gift threw in a free copy of JamisonParker’s Sleepwalker with my Copeland order. Which is awesome, but I already have that record! Anyway, free to a good home, you just cover shipping. Let me know if you want it!

The Ataris re-recording "In This Diary" gives me hope they'll do the rest of the record and release a pressing. I have and love the demo LP they did but I'd love to have a studio copy that isn't expensive.

Now I'll be annoyed if I don't get a freebie with mine, haha.

 

yeah, is it common for Parting Gift to throw in a bonus record? i remember Spartan did that when i ordered from them like a decade ago, but idk how common it is elsewhere

 

Given that they’re selling them for $10 or something, they probably have a ton.

I must have missed when those went up for sale! I didn't know it was out today until I saw his post on Facebook. Listening now on digital and digging it, though. His webstore appears to be down at the moment, but I'll probably grab a copy of it comes back.

I hope he keeps working through his catalog. I'd love to have Draw the Curtains and The Man Who Killed Love on vinyl.

I mean, no reason not to!

 

I like the new arrangements a lot. My only gripe is that, throughout, he does that whole "start singing the line late" thing and it's pretty distracting.

 

In Motion came in. looks and sounds great. JamisonParker was included as well

 

They're just giving away those JamisonParker albums! That album was massive for me in 2005! Hopefully they do Notes & Photographs someday.

I guess that JamisonParker album didn't sell very well. It's one of those albums that's highly regarded by people who liked it when it came out, but I don't think they've gained a lot of fans over the last 20 years. Kinda feel the same way about that Umbrellas album they just pressed.

 

I was SHOCKED they pressed that umbrellas record. Album is amazing and deserved it but def not an album that was that popular even at the time
