Glad I have the box set cause ooof. Also can they stop recreating the artwork. Just keep it as is. Or at least have another option with the original cover.

Is this just a pressing of the original Avalon album or the songs are reworked somehow?

All updated songs I believe. The two released so far are definitely new versions. No press release yet but two songs are out and both are great updates IMHO.
