Just a heads up that those points do end up expiring at some point. No idea how long, but I was banking some for a later purchase and learned the hard way.

I'm very weary of Rough Trade for online purchases now. I ordered an album from them back in February. 4 weeks had passed and I never received it or received any shipping confirmation. I emailed customer service 3 times about it and they never responded to me. Eventually I had to contact my credit card company and had them report it as a fraudulent charge to get refunded.

 

Grabbed 1975 and 5SOS from UDiscover for $27 after using points.

 

Oh damn, they've usually been spot on for me with past purchases. I am currently waiting on Siamese Dream - tracking number sent on the 9th but no actual movement yet (probably due to RSD backlog).

Did you order something showing in stock or ...?

Before they switched to Shop Pay, you could go into your account and just cancel an order. They also did not charge you until it shipped. Sucks that they've changed that now. I think their distribution changed too which might explain their current slowness.

Yeah it said it was in stock and continued to say "in stock" on the product page during the 4 weeks I was waiting. In my account it did have a button to cancel the order but when I clicked it would always give me an error message.
And urgh thanks for reminding me about Siamese Dream! Still gotta decide between the standard black on UDiscover or that red variant.

I found a used Mogwai 7" for $5 the other day. The record store had even tidied it up and slipped it in a fidelity sleeve

 

Been listening to a lot of Moneen - The Red Tree. They were on another level when they recorded this one. It's just perfect. Forgot how good it was. Need it on vinyl badly.
