NOFX "The Longest Line" EP Final Tour Variant leftovers up on Fat Wreck. $40.

They had the Frank Turner split but that's sold out now.

(i took them out of the bins. i have four now but they were causing some warping to the jackets, and pulling the bins in and out was becoming too tedious)

The 25th anniversary of New Found Glory's FTSTYS is coming up next Friday. Maybe we hear news next week?

Finally picked up the last Fireworks record I didn't own for cheap - found a copy of Adventure, Nostalgia, and Robbery in a Facebook group. I don't usually care about 7" but had to complete the discography.

Didn't go too crazy on my San Francisco trip, but figured I'd share my haul. Amoeba was awesome! First visit to the West Coast was a success. Can't wait to go back!

  13. i've only been to the amoeba in hollywood but it's easily the biggest record store we have in the area, and it is indeed awesome

I doubt it'll ever happen but I would love to own a pressing of Controversy Loves Company by The Audition.

There are a lot of old Victory albums that likely need represses.

Old news but this new Spiritbox album is ridiculously good. Been on repeat since it came out. It pairs well with my current mood at work.

Any of their records would be great. I always liked them; I think their singer is still making music, I remember seeing a post about his solo album somewhere.

  20. Haze after the debacle with the first Aaron West album. No matter how much I tried to clean it it still feels (and sounds) like I dropped it on the beach.

I genuinely wanna know ppl's take on Nevertake. I like it. Matty is no Stephen by any means but it's a good take on a classic album. My 2 best friends who grew up listening to Anberlin with me since Blueprints refuse to listen to it. I just don't engage in the group chat haha.

It still sounds a bit like a cover band to me doing NTFP. Albeit a very good cover band with the original rhythm section, but it's still a bit hard for me to get past Matty's voice on that record after growing accustomed to Stephen for so long. The heavier moments (i.e. "Paperthin Hymn") on Nevertake are pretty good, tho! The softer moments definitely better suit Stephen's delivery. Don't think I'll end up buying the re-recording on vinyl unless it's on sale/marked down.

I have no desire to listen to it. Stephen is/was one of the best vocalists IMO. Personally, I don't need the karaoke version.

aside from the Live in NYC set (which i missed out on), this is the first Anberlin record i'm not buying.
