my nimrod. boxset from deep discounts shipped QUICK. ordered thursday and came in yesterday. def buying from them again.

 

I’ve ordered from them countless times over the last 15-20 years, mostly DVDs. They are not always fast, but you do eventually get your stuff.

 

Deep Discount was my go-to for filling out a lot of my "wants" that I didn't truly "need". I'd wait for a sale of theirs and get a big bulk discount. Last time I checked out their site their prices jumped up and their discounts aren't really as enticing as they used to be.

Just got shipping notification from NTX for the Bowling For Soup vinyl.

The mock ups for the Anxious Bambi record sucked for the tour press. It said none white inside gold and it’s basically just gold

 

If you go back a few pages I was bitching about the RevHQ variant too. Just a poor job.

 

I will give them credit though, mastering for vinyl is perfect. Sounds huge

 

Not familiar with this band, but this showed up in my scrolling, and is a great example of a band taking ownership of a honest mistake and doing everything in their power to make it right.

 

I have an original pressing of The Juliana Theory's Emotion Is Dead and they cut off the second half of the last track. It just fades out halfway through. I remember being so annoyed the first time I listened to the record. I'm assuming it was to make everything fit on one record, but it's still obnoxious.

Good on MCP for trying to make it right at least.

 

Or, having an entire track missing from the record when it's listed on the sleeve.

 

Wild how that one missing track seemingly halted them releasing anything else so far. I know they teased Life In Dreaming, but it’s wild how silent they’ve gone overall.

 

Yeah, it's really odd especially since they were also hinting at a FTSTYS1 repress. I'm sure we'll hear from them soon with new vinyl. Enough time has passed even though I'll never forget about their screw up.

 

They did more than hint that one. They said it was happening.

 

MCP are not a band that financially can just eat the cost of a repress. Good on them.

I have a Manchester Orchestra album where the entire A side is Denzel Curry. Not even mad about it.

 

For the upcoming tour.

 

Hope I can snag that blue/white split at the show next month.

 

I have the Rise Records split with Tear and the Box Set... I don't need anymore copies!

But good for folks who are hitting this up. I'm pretty stoked for the Toronto show!
