Hope you liked my packaging! I had to use the few larger boxes I had for a couple others so had to engineer something out of what I had lying around.

 

They got here safe and sound, so it worked for me!

 

Geez guys I don't even look at the value haha. I'll think about posting later.

Now it also includes all my CDs I still have.

Mine is at $21k - $38k - $69k. I'm tempted to start buying again just to get over $70k.

learned my dad snagged one of my white whales from Discogs last night just for the hell of it (he loves it too). if i didn't have to pay $200 for a single LP, i probably would've done the same, but here we are...

I just put on Illuminare and as soon as the first song started, I was like holy shit how did I forget this album? The '00's was just a plethora of great music. Pre-Apple Music / Spotify, I had all of these albums on CD. Once the transition to streaming started and I sold off my collection a lot of these albums weren't initially available, so I forgot them over time. Such a cool experience to revisit. Your brain is immediately like hey I remember this.

 

I just found a white whale record posted for sale. Somehow I don't think I'll be able to convince my wife it would be an investment not just a purchase

 

I'd love Pompeii "Assembly" on vinyl.

 

I was more into the first album. But this one was great too!

They definitely got a bit of mainstream exposure on Grey's Anatomy back in the day.

Scott Windsor brews beer now if I recall lol.

 

My high end value is like $11k. I feel like a real lightweight in these parts goodness.

Grabbing the BF Blonde/Endless.

Deciding to buy the only color variant of Black Star, and waking up the next morning to find out Bowie had died.

Grabbing a 7" of a singer songwriter when Ryan Adams put it out, and then Phoebe Bridgers gets huge

same re: BF Frank Ocean. other big contributors to my totals include finding the 180g deluxe pressing of Lorde's Melodrama at Vintage Vinyl in St. Louis for $40 back in 2018, as well as snagging the Anberlin boxset from a fellow Chorus member for around $200

 

That’s been listed for quite some time - I have a DM chain with that user about it from 2022 haha. If it means anything to you and you haven’t noticed yet, the album does not include Colors

 

I thought this was the same one that I've seen before. I've accepted the fact that I'm not going to own this album lol

 

Won't know until it shows up at my door but hoping I just found some good deals on discogs... (Fingers crossed on some things I have been after for quite a while now)
