Not the greatest shot, but I recently tracked down (with my dad's help) an expert to repair these Acoustic Research AR-3a speakers that were my grandfather's. They've been an incredible upgrade. He fully restored them to "factory-level" and they absolutely sing. Best I've ever had. Beyond grateful to have this family heirloom. My grandfather passed before I was born, so it's kind of cool to think of him when I throw on a record or even watch tv now.

 

This is rad. Reminds me of something similar I saw with Ben Blackwell of Third Man records. His collection is insane especially (obviously) his White Stripes stuff
