I just had a feeling they'd be doing a box set! Just has to drop when I just ordered 2 box sets last week. Haha.

 

Box sets are a tough sell for me because the only artists I’d want are ones I really love but I almost certainly already have a few records from them if I love them lol

Yeah, this is 7 LPs + 7". I would hope less than $250 US. But knowing nowadays, probably not.

MxPx was 14 LPs and it was $350 US.

I would maybe buy a Simple Plan greatest hits record. But I will say their newest album is my fav of theirs in quite a while.

 

Buying a box set of a band I'm not familiar with is like preemptively buying a box set of Fast and Furious movies because it was on sale, and then another movie comes out, and then another one come out, and then, surprise! Vin Diesel is gross, so now I have an unopened set of seven or eight movies I still haven't seen, and even just looking at the main actor makes me feel icky

...okay, maybe not exactly like that

 

It feels weird that they don’t have more albums. I never really bothered with anything after the second album. No particular reason. Just kind of never checked anything else out.

 

I'd probably buy one if it was my favorite band and it came with cool bonus stuff that was exclusive to the set. cuz like, if they're my favorite band, I probably already own their albums on vinyl.

I guess another reason to buy a box set would be if the albums were out of print and it was the only way to get them.
