Someone's selling a copy of So Long Astoria for $125 shipped on Facebook. If you wanna shell that much out on it!

 

A little voice inside my head said

 

Add So Long, Astoria to my list of ‘no idea that wasn’t widely available.’ I feel like mine is coke bottle clear. I’ll have to dig it out tomorrow.

On a related sidenote it was one our rare days of sunshine here in the UK and Boys of Summer came on shuffle in the car. Nice combination. I saw neither a black flag sticker nor a Cadillac though! They’re rarer than sunny days over here!

I think there have been rumors of trouble at Vinyl Me Please for awhile, and this seems to be confirmation of that. They announced yesterday that they are discontinuing two of their ROTM programs.

I’m looking for some advice

I recently sold my 7” box set of AFI’s decemberunderground on Discogs. It was delivered yesterday and the buyer messaged me saying they wanted to return it and refund their money because “they wanted the vinyl not a CD.” This was clearly listed under the 7” box set variant on Discogs.

What do I do here?

grimeys in Nashville gives you jack shit if you trade records into them, but the upside is they keep the used records section very affordable. They philosophically think vinyl should be for everyone. Best store in the country.

 

the hardest part of this experience is going to be opening it. I haven’t yet.
