this is an album that should only ever be pressed with Addicted as the closing track. why the US pressing cuts it and replaces it with a Ghostface Killah remix of You Know I'm No Good is fucking beyond me.

Does anyone know the difference between the two versions of Jimmy Eat World’s Futures on Merchbar sale? Ones $10 cheaper, and the other says 2LP, but both are pulling the same version on discogs.

 

I feel like it depends on the supplier they use for each?

Also, for what it’s worth, the cheaper one is actually heavier than the other one. I’d probably go for the cheaper one.

But I also refuse to buy from MerchBar after my last order with them. So, I wouldn’t buy either haha

 

Usually the more expensive ones ship from the UK or Australia from my experience.

i also had a bad experience with merchbar so no thank you

got some more inner- and outer-sleeves, different brand than last time but i don't notice any difference. went back and rotated the outer-sleeves so the opening was on top instead of on the side, and also replaced any that were torn.

i saw a pink Chappell at UO yesterday. if I wasn't so lazy I'd get it to sell on Discogs, yeesh

 

I wouldn't buy it from anywhere other than Jimmy Eat World's store, or somewhere that is easy to return to. There is a bad pressing going around with 2 A/B sides, and no C/D side. Only way to know if you got the bad one is when you physically open and play each side. So beware.

Didn’t even know this was a thing and I love their EP’s. Be good to have them collected on vinyl.

Been semi off the grid for a week since my receiver blew up, along with me and my gf breaking up a few days ago. It's been a super fantastic week.

After much debate about buying a used or a new amp/receiver, watching videos, doing research, I reached out to the salesman who sold me my turntable 2 years ago for recommendations. He recommended the Rega Brio. Said he had two himself. Knowing he didn't steer me wrong on the TT (also knowing he'll make commission on this sale) I gave in and bought one. It also helps that it was on sale. Definitely wasn't expecting to drop this much on a receiver but...

It's good to be back in the game. I was going through some serious withdrawal! I'm glad my work decided to split our yearly bonus into two halves starting this year.

Also heres a few of the PO box pick ups this week that I couldn't spin until tonight.
