Lol jeeeeez $85 for a greatest hits album? I love the Pumpkins but that's nuts.

Similar to the live music market, I feel like the vinyl market bubble is about to pop. Retailers are trying to price records way too high and are pressing way too many copies, especially with the way the economy is right now. I'm walking into Urban Outfitters and seeing newly released records marked down to 7 bucks that were priced at 40 bucks months prior.

Like I'm happy to have They're Only Chasing Safety on vinyl (the cornetto actually looks awesome), but I just know in about 3 months I'm going to see it discounted on amazon and UO for half the price I paid.

 

Been tracking my bought/sold records since 2012 and the last couple years, I've sold more than I bought which feels great. I just had to hold onto some of them for over 10 years lol

Recently bought the new Tycho, Khruangbin's newest, and some Japanese jazz (Funky Stuff) so a pretty chill year so far. I've dialed it way back and am much happier with the amount I've got and the ability to actually listen to my records.
