Just wanted to confirm for anyone else interested that @michael_gatto is a real person who shipped quickly!

 

I know this is the vinyl forum but TJT and MO/Thrice tours all announced on the same day and nowhere near me aghhhh

Younger me is thrilled/bummed

 

Still related though! There is a vinyl in the VIP package for MO/Thrice, a 12" split.

 

They made it even quicker than I expected

Jennasea is still a song I listen to regularly, going to have to revisit the full albums again

 

shit I want both of those Morning Of albums!

 

I mean they were an early band on Tragic Hero so I guess pressing their albums wasn't much of an issue.

 

Revisited The World As We Know It yesterday and it totally sparked the memory that Jessica had a lesser known band after that called Modern American Theatre. Dunno how their name came back to me so quickly. Really cool stuff if you’re into mathy emo with a lot of tapping riffs i.e. TTNG and Delta Sleep

Anyone have a copy of The Sidekicks "Weight Of Air" they want to give a new home to?

 

I haven't listened to that Morning Of album in a long time, but it has two solid gold classics ("I Know You Know" and "The Time It Takes to Grow") that I revisit often.

 

Apparently I never listened to The Way I Fell In all the way through before because I would have remembered that Aaron Marsh sings on Heaven or Hell! That just made my day

 

"I Know You Know" is sooo good

 

Always loved her voice and never knew this so thought I’d check it out but I can only find one with a Julie Goodson as the singer?

 

My feeling was always that she oversang a bit across the album as a whole, but that song totally calls for that kind of delivery and she absolutely nails it.

 

I’m still patiently awaiting the day they press Sing It Loud’s “Everything Collide”

 

I'm kinda shocked she never went in the pop solo artist world after TMO broke up. But I think she got married and started a family soon after her bands broke up, so maybe that would explain why, but yeah... her voice rules.

Thanks! This one appears to be a Natalie Diaz, not Jessica Leplon. She does sound incredibly like her though, albeit her voice isn’t as strong.
