I missed out on that pink alt, it was sooooo beautiful. So I settled on whatever Amazon had, and I just got it in and it's white. The packaging is superb, I love the giant booklet with pics and lyrics. I'm very very impressed with this and listening so far it's everything I imagined it would be!

 

Agree on AIC. I couldn’t believe how good that sounded.

 

Pretty sure I received my blue variant from RFC, but not sure when I’ll get around to checking it out. I want my first full listen of the album to be on my turntable.

Wish I grabbed the pink variant when I had the chance.

 

I was gonna ask if you got yours yet.

I hope that means Self Titled finally gets its well deserved second press for its 30th anniversary next year (but preferably sooner).

 

Looks like it debuted at #21 with over 24k activity. Don’t know how much of that is pure album sales, but I gotta imagine it’s the bulk of it.

Totally! I need to hear Grind, Again and especially Frogs on vinyl.

I saw a used copy at a store in downtown Toronto. There was a cut in the sleeve and they were selling it for $500 Canadian.

 

Alright one more spinning post. Bought this sealed of my buddy for fiddy bucks Canadian still sealed. The deluxe triple gatefold. Don't ask me for the digital download. It expired 12 years ago!

 

Yeah, sounds about right. I’ve seen it for $400 and that’s considered the low end!

 

I know I’ll get tarred and feathered for this but I love that album. It’s high in my blink ranks.

I got the pink One Step Closer album but it's stuck in Tennessee for some reason. Will post a photo when it gets here.

 

I switched to these plastic half bins because they're more sturdy than the cloth ones I was using so they're easier to pull out without bending. Not pictured: I have a piece of cardboard I put underneath to keep them level when I pull them out

 

Okay this turned out really cool. I love that the A and B sides look so different.

Listening to my blue variant of OSC. This album is fantastic and sounds great on vinyl. It’s one of those rare releases over too soon, leaving you wanting more.

 

Name Taken should be shipping out soon right? Thought it said mid-May when it dropped.

 

Oddly enough, I found the test press first on Discogs months ago after looking for a retail copy for years and finally found the retail a week ago on the Vinyl Collective board. Probably the only test press I’ve seen with the same variant as the regular copy.

 

Saturday night tunes

 

Just popped into my local Urban Outfitters, who’s currently doing an extra 40% off sale, plus an additional 10% if you sign up for their mailing list.
Ended up getting SOTY’s Page Avenue for $5 and Hellogoodbye’s Zombies for $7.
They also had Blink’s One More Time (standard black) for only 12 bucks. Definitely suggest checking out what your local store is offering!

 

That SOTY is an absolute steal at that price. Damn.

 

I got Page Avenue from an UO sale too a while back, can't remember for how much tho

But yeah, those sales are nuts. Depends on store availability so ymmv but I've done quite a few blind buys and haven't had it backfire yet
