Do we think it’s on all of them? Or maybe just one variant? I ordered the one from UO a few weeks ago and hasn’t shipped yet.

Love that cover as well so it will be missed… if they ever ship out the international copies to Banquet (I’m sceptical)

The Promise definitely not on the UO version. How would they even remedy this situation? Can’t repress for one song. I’d like a partial refund.

 

Oh man I completely forgot about PlayRadioPlay! Remember discovering them through Pure Volume. I really enjoyed The Frequency EP back then.

Wasn’t there a feud between them and The Secret Handshake? Or am I misremembering?

 

Real AP folk were there for the night of Banalog Rebellion where Jason banned PlayRadioPlay from the forum.

I agree. If you order a record with a track list then that’s what you should receive. No doubt they’ll offer 5% off your next purchase if you spend $100.

If you haven’t grabbed it yet, Lame-O has a really pretty pressing for Steve’s solo record (Superviolet).

Dang. Looks like it doesn’t. I was gonna try to cancel my order but it’s “processing to ship,” so I can’t. Sigh. I may end up returning it.

Did yours actually come in a separate sleeve, or did you do that yourself?

 

I can see both sides to this. I typically pre-order from my local shop because I got tired of paying shipping costs, it's a local business, and I enjoy the guarantee of having albums on release day. Obviously the artists themselves need all the help they can get today, especially with Spotify being the way most people consume music. But, they can offer exclusive variants and test presses which will sell regardless of an exclusivity window.

 

Lots of cool splatter variants coming out, this one is no exception!

 

It’s in a little paper sleeve inside the jacket, but I pulled out and put it in that one until I order 7” sleeves (it’s actually the sleeve for the die cut Format “Swans” record).
