yeah, those RSD Limited/Regional releases (like B&C this year, and Pianos 7" a few years ago) are even more of a crapshoot than the standard RSD Exclusive, as your store may not have even been on the list to receive them.

Record store day is cool for the savings in store. The RSD releases are terrible and it's like shopping at Black Friday. My one experience was really bad and wish I had just gone later in the day. Also the workers basically bragged about getting copies of stuff and keeping it for themselves. This girl camped out for he Deja release and the people just kept it for themselves.

Probably won't be participating this year, but I'm glad I did last year. Brian Fallon STILL hasn't released Georgia digitally and I'm not so sure he ever will.

    Balance & Composure-slow heart
    Poliça-Lipstick Stain/Still Counts

Finally picked up Alt-J’s This Is All Yours and Jimmy Eat World’s Bleed American today! Picking up the entire JEW catalog is one of my next moves, but it’s going to take some time.

Is there anyway to tell what type of variant is sold when buying through Amazon?

Occasionally there will be a product description which will tell you. If it's not there or in the title, you really can't know.

Generally no. Sometimes it will be under additional info and some people may tell you in the reviews. I always assume it's either black or the most widely available pressing of said record.

Hmm ok thanks. I'm just debating on whether I want to get the cheaper price that will probably come in black or if I want to spend the little extra for a colored one though the label.

I usually try to go through the band/label because I know more of the money is going toward continuing to put out music but unless it's a super cool variant (I like stuff that matches the album cover). If you're just looking to save yourself money (which I can't fault) Amazon is probably your best bet especially if you pay for prime.

My bad, thought this was an SRC pressing ha. I guess Geffen/Universal instead?

Yeah. Modern vinyl is suggesting that this is the consumer/retail version this album never got so probably in large numbers.

Release My Mind, My Garden Grows

I've been going hard the past couple weeks with adding to my collection, at least by my standards:

    Kevin Devine - Instigator (Red)
Bush - Sixteen Stone (Clear x2)
From Indian Lakes - Absent Sounds (Red Splash)
    Manchester Orchestra - Hope
Taking Back Sunday - Where You Want To Be (Banana Mosh Pt. II)
Close Your Eyes - We Will Overcome (Blue Marble)
    Foxing - Dealer (Clear)
Parkway Drive - Horizons (Translucent Blue)

Along with like 4 or 5 other 7"s as well
