Damn that UO sale is really tempting. I'm eying The Used, Trophy Eyes and Phoenix. But UO have markdowns so often I'm kinda anticipating these to drop even further in the coming months

I’ll just keep waiting for FTSTYS2 to go on clearance with them. I’ve already gotten everything else I’d want from them. I always check whatever is added though. Thanks for posting that.

    Maybe so, maybe not.

Ya know what album really needs a vinyl pressing for the first time?

and the self titled which I still maintain to this day that that is the most underrated pop/screamo record of the 2000’s

  9. Sometimes they have an extra 40% off clearance in store, I took my chances on some artists I hadn't heard of and it hasn't backfired so far

Haha that sounds very 2005. I will say Almost Here was probably my album of 2005. I was obsessed with that album. The year of FBR.

There's a copy of it at the record store in the mall near me. I really should pick it up.

Just realizing I never bought Almost Here until I got it on vinyl last year.

I got the CD for free with my FUCT preorder.

Sometimes they do that extra 40% off online too (snagged Maggie Rodgers and Jessie Reyez for like $8 each last year). Will need to finally swing by a physical UO soon and see the selection.

Mail day. Finally got my #2 album of 2023. This album has gotten me through so much the last few months. I highly recommend it!

Also if you're into some nice post rock jams in the vein of Explosions In the Sky, check out Follow "Old Haunts" its got members of Luca Brasi with some other dudes from Tassie bands.

First time I heard The Academy Is was seeing them open for Fall Out Boy in 2005, instantly bought the cd from their merch booth.

other openers were Gym Class Heroes and Silverstein
