Whoa (re: SCP). That's horrible.

What are folks planning to do if they have pending orders with an SCP store? I had an order from mid-November that I just happened to email them about this morning, only to now find these posts about what happened.

I love how Newbury combats flippers by just raising their low stock/high demand releases to insane prices. Cut out the middle man!

 

Don’t hate me, but I think I misunderstood the conversation, unless “standard black” is considered a variant lol

 

Someone will buy it and Newbury Comics will be like...Told ya! UGH, it's bad enough when Ebay/Discogs scalpers are out there, but the actual storefront doing it is just gross.

Some gems on these lists. Both Fenix Tx albums, all three TSL albums, Paper Walls, They're Only Chasing Safety, Lovely Little Lonely and American Candy would all be instant purchases for me.

I'm also hoping for The Honorary Title's Anything Else But the Truth, a proper Blink Untitled repress, Dashboard's Dusk & Summer, and Sara Bareilles' Kaleidoscope Heart.

Good question - I know @topshelfsquad went through this with Awesome Distro so maybe they have some answers with what their experience was like

the billboard article goes into depth about the artists trying to reclaim their merch but I have no idea how it affects pending orders
