  1. So what's your best bet for the artist, buying at their show maybe? I mean, yeah, I guess me buying from Urban Outfitters when it's an extra 40% off clearance doesn't help much, but I do wonder about these things.

We reach for the longest shadow

Buying any merch at shows is putting money directly into their pockets. They probably bought the albums for the tour from the label at a steep discount (think $10 then they charge $20-25) so that’s always the best way to go, or if they run their own merch store.

Whenever you can buy directly from an artist at a show (assuming no merch cuts) I think that's the best bet to ensure most of the money helps them.

  4. I’m like 99% positive this isn’t true. They get a higher percent for the tour pressing and get money for each sold online and 50:50 on merch. Pretty sure that was the NFG and TEN deal.

Death Touches Us, From the Moment we Begin to Love Supporter

After spending a ridiculous amount on drops today. I decided to check the record store in the mall (on a Black Friday afternoon ugh)

Slim pickin' by 3pm. They did have 2 copies of Noah Kahan's EP. Looked at what it was going for on Discogs and was like Wtf?!

    Anyways I grabbed a copy, it's a goregeous variant!

Came home and my Dave Hause "Versus" was here as well. Crappy packaging from the Canadian fulfillment so its dinged up in the bottom right. Ugh.

Hoping to find the remainder of the BFRSD drops I wanna grab online over the weekend. Then that's it.... I'm done. Fuck.... Haha.

Do we think Drive-Thru will repress any other The Starting Line albums? I would love Say It Like You Mean It and the Make Yourself At Home EP. I think those albums were also released through MCA so that probably complicates things.

I don’t think the DTR/TTTH collab has any geffen rights.

This also came today. I forgot to hit 45rpm off the bat and I was like what's this jazzy intro...

I haven't listened to this in its entirety in years. Let's see if I still remember all the lyrics.

I have a walnut variant from 2018, otherwise I'd be tempted to grab this.

    England.

Do Richard and Stefanie not have anything to do with it then?

Weren’t Finch - What It Is, NFG - Catalyst and NFG - Coming home all MCA / Geffen? Sure TTTH released them.

  20. Very very very little. The original contracts play into it some, so they’re I think involved with that, but TTTH is basically doing everything with it. I’ve heard next year has some fun things and 2024 holiday could have some unique stuff but I don’t know how much is confirmed yet. If true they’ll get more of my money lol

solid mail day! been wanting this album for awhile and since they broke up last year wanted to scoop a copy before i cant anymore. this variant is awesome and totally goes along with the album artwork, can't wait to spin it! shoutout to hopeless to restocking and for it being on sale.

Thanks for clarifying! That 2024 tease is both incredible for me but depressing for my wallet haha.

To be fair though the only ones I’m really missing now are Fenix TX (despite having an unofficial one of a kind Lechuza pressing), Allister - Dead Ends, Steel Train and The Benjamins

Got my Hello Rockview picture disc up for sale on eBay but I’m having second thoughts now lol

I have no knowledge of anything, but I find it weird that the Geffen releases are under TTTH and the Drive Thru only ones are released under that umbrella. Too specific to be a coincidence when it’s the same people doing it.
