Anyone else order Chocolate Starfish from Udiscover? Mine got delivered today, but the color is different than was advertised. Picture on their site showed a cream color for LP 1 and shit brown for LP 2. I got a silver record and a darker shade of brown.

I know the shrink wrap can be bad over time, does everyone open and put alllll the records in sleeves right away? I’ve been slacking lately.

On that topic, what sleeves do you guys use? I need to get on that.

Also, do any of you use headphones to listen to your vinyl? Now that I’m in an apartment I feel like I shouldn’t play them too loud. I’m thinking about getting a good set, but I don’t know where to begin looking at. Wireless would be cool, but wired would be okay, it would just need to be a long cable.

i connect my Shure Aonic 215s to my table via Bluetooth when i wanna listen privately. unfortunately i have the first gen and they don't have native volume control on the Bluetooth adapters themselves (you can only change it with your phone if connected to it), so they're stuck at just one volume (which is reasonable most of the time). but i know the second gen has onboard volume controls.

Unfortunately wasn't quick enough for the colored vinyl set...but still sounds great, and has excellent packaging.

 

more like fuckin finally, been waiting for that sale to come back around for months; the last time it did it was movies books and games. gonna finally snag the last two Taylor's Version cds.

I thought of nabbing it but I have the Stereo box set. If there's a restock on the coloured maybe I'll snag it!

Yep! Sounds great, and “Hemorrhage” and “Bad Day” are both mixed/mastered really well on that.
