Anyone ever have any issues ordering from FYE?

 

I’m surprised they’re still a thing! All the local ones in my area closed their storefronts, but I believe the online store is still active. Not sure if anyone else ordered from them recently, but I never had problems in the past.

 

I think the local FYE near me closed almost 20 years ago.

 

Happy 28th birthday (UK today / NA tomorrow) to this masterpiece. Forever one of the greatest albums.

i worked for my store from 16-19, they even opened up one in another mall in my area, i was like o_0

 

One of my dead malls near me still has an Fye and there a few more in ct but the other mall not so dead lost their a few years ago

there's an fye at the mall near my apartment but their vinyl section is pretty expensive

 

To you and everyone in this thread: if you are planning on actually playing the records, do NOT buy that boxset. They are this shiny gold and silver colors and it is very muffled sounding. The boxset is beautiful, and it's cool to have the story, but it's not what you want if you actually enjoy playing the records. I sold mine and bought individual copies of Ascension and Descension.

Without looking, what is the best variant for GD?

 

As of now, press numbers wise its the Newbury/Zia/UO/1-2-3-4 press runs out of 1000. but I think the pink galaxy out of 2000 in the GD store looks the best.

 

There's also a Spotify variant.

 

I got both variants in the GD store. Pink galaxy looks really cool. Can’t let myself look at other exclusives….
