Sing The Sorrow sounds great. I have the speakers blasting. Even if there are some pops, I don't hear em. The packaging is well done. Really worth the price of admission. Love this album.

 

I wonder if this will be anything we care about...

 

Mine should be coming in today. So excited to listen.

 

Since everyone was posting their first vinyl it got me thinking, what's everyone's white whale albums they are looking for? I know the recent SoCo pressings will take those off quite a few lists

Is it weird that there isn't an album I just ADORE that I don't have? Especially now that Sing the Sorrow is out (I keep forgetting to go pick it up at Seasick).There are some pressings I think are cooler than what I do have (Afterman Ascension on orange instead of black) but there's not that one album I'm dying to find. I do want the deluxe MWY for [Untitled] instead of my plain blue one, but I feel like that barely counts. I guess I'd like an OG In Keeping Secrets? Either the blue/gray or orange/white.

Are you asking if that means the first 3 that have been pressed or if that includes the albums that haven't been pressed?

My list of records that would make me very, very happy to have, but my collection is fine without them:

MCR - Conventional Weapons

I fully expect at least a few of these to be repressed soon.

 

I mean, it's a legit question, because I thought TOCS, DTGL, and LITS are somewhat easily attainable? (I could be off base here) But they also have Act of Depression, Cries of the Past, and The Changing of Times, which I wouldn't have thought you would've been interested in.

 

Are we talking white whales that were actually pressed or white whales that have never been on vinyl? If the latter, Lovely Little Lonely is pretty near the top of the list. If the former, the first three Butch Walker solo albums, especially Letters. Letters is my number 1 “please press this and I can die a happy man” album.

 

Act of Depression, Cries of the Past and The Changing of Times. Haha. A little bit of Christian black metal for you ;)

 

Another big never-been-pressed one for me: Cary Brothers - Who You Are.

 

Oh actually I just thought of mine, Charlie Simpson - Young Pilgrim and Long Road Home. I think Young Pilgrim's masters got lost in a fire or something if I remember correctly?
