Speaking of AFI, Sing the Sorrow was the first record I bought, way back when the first pressing came out.

 

First record I ever bought was In the Aeroplane Over the Sea in 2008/09

Forreal, I use to love browsing their selection. I still remember picking up La Dispute 's first album there in clearance.

Not a bad way to get started, not bad at all haha.

My firsts were boygenius and Longbeard about a year ago

 

Listening to AFI this morning man I love this record. Was worried reading discogs but my copy sounds terrific? No noise pops or anything, sounds absolutely killer. Dynamic.
Are people on there too snobby? Or just using shitty suitcase record players? I by no means have a super high end set up but it’s not garbage.

 

Finally got this one! 2nd press limited of 203

 

I did not notice the decimal at quick glance and thought you were simply insane lol

More ordering from Amazon funnies…ordered the 10” (I know, I know…) Alkaline Trio of CRIMSON and this Rufus Wainwright LP showed up instead.

Guess I wasn’t meant to buy that Crimson 10”…

 

I'd get it if the covers looked the same.

Like the time I ordered Kero Kero Bonito twice and got Wheatus both times. It's like whoever Amazon got their albums from messed up!

I ended up keeping Wheatus in the end lol.

Where'd you find the HC and what'd it cost if you don't mind me asking

 

My RSD copy doesn't have any pops either. I feel like the vocals are a little higher in the mix than the CD, but that could also be because my speakers have folded tweeters and are a little more vocal-focused. The brief gap between songs also threw me, but I've listened to the CD version soooo many times any differences will be more noticeable to me.

 

I noticed the gaps too but it’s ok. everyone on discogs is complaining about pops and surface noise. Mine is totally quiet, sounds killer on my set up.

 

No problem, I got it off eBay for $50. Missed the drop earlier in the year.

 

This happened to me with Amazon recently. I let them know the wrong product came, received the right one the next day, and returned the wrong one with a label provided pretty easily.

 

That's happened to me a few times with Amazon. Just return it online and drop it off in the original packaging at a Kohl's or whoever can take returns
