where would i be if i was my brain Prestigious

I think the 2020 represses have dropped to like $70 or something.
I think it's their biggest release so far. Compare it to everything else they've been able to do.

The only sole DTR release they did was Riverfenix, which I don’t think they’d be allowed to press with that name. The rest are with MCA/Geffen.

A couple variants are starting at that price. The others are all around $100 or more.

  4. Huh, I guess you’re right! I always thought the self titled was DTR only. Learned something new today

TEN - The Room’s Too Cold is bigger to me.

But it had already been pressed before.

It's all subjective. For me, it's more of the idea of overhyping that I don't like. I get it from a marketing standpoint, but I just feel like they've disappointed a lot of people more than once, and they did it again here.

That being said, I'll still be buying this tomorrow and I'll still keep an eye out for their next release(s), so I guess I'm the sucker (:musicnote:for a kiss:musicnote:)

Looking at the list on their Wiki that is specifically a DTR release, there are a few big ones they could potentially do. Obviously there could be factors against some of them I am unaware of. But here’s a few that would be an instant buy for tons of people. Maybe some are in the works.

    -Nothing Gold Can Stay
-Say It Like You Mean It
    -Progress
    -Kings Of Pop
    -Last Stop Suburbia
    -For All Of This
    -TEN acoustic
    -Make Yourself At Home
-40 Hour Train Back To Penn
    -The Resignation
    -Life In Dreaming
    -I Am The Avalanche

They really need to re-press Progress - hopefully this time with Rx Bandits’ input.

Gonna pass on FTSTYS2. Potentially too many other albums coming.
Guessing uDiscover will soon be releasing Catalyst, BOATS and both Fenix TX albums.
With Drive Thru I'm still hoping for Nothing Gold Can Stay, Say It Like You Mean It, Make Yourself At Home, I Can Make A Mess Like Nobody's Business and The Mother, The Mechanic & The Path.

    u wut m8?

FTSTYS 2 has some of NFGs best songs. Their covers of King of Wishful Thinking, The Promise, and Iris are awesome.

Huh, I was convinced Say It Like You Mean It was MCA/Geffen. Interesting.

I’ll never stop finding it weird when people think a cover is one of a band’s best songs.

NGCS isn't really theirs though. Unless they bought it out completely from Eulogy
Shhh on the King of Wishful thinking. They've wasted their opening sets on that.

I wouldn't say any of them are their best songs, but they're definitely some of the best pop-punk covers.

I was always disappointed they never hit it big with anything but that cover. They had some really good stuff, and it's a shame that's all they'll be known for by the general public. Haven't listened in years though, so I can't be sure any of it holds up today.

For me, I always think of "In This Diary" first for them, but yeah "Boys of Summer" would probably be most people's first association with them.
