Yea it’s definitely a privileged problem to have

that being said, I think more than a few partners of ppl in here (my wife included lol) might reasonably question how much longer their households will continue to have any money after this wk haha…

 

I’ve basically given up on the hobby. I just found it to be never-ending, and even after telling myself i’m only buying certain bands, I don’t hold myself to it.

 

I hope all your WATTs sound better than the OG pressing. I'd trade mine in a heartbeat for something more listenable.

 

yeah i don't think ill ever sell what i have but between the prices currently, the endless stream of reissues, and the amount of releases i think im basically done pre-ordering shit. might still grab a record at a show but that's it.

 

Cassette’s are fun cause they’re so limited that I don’t have the ability to buy everything, coupled with the fact they’re like 12 bucks each. We as a society really fucked up though by moving away from CDs. They were right there in front of us and we took them for granted. Decently priced, highest quality audio, all the perks of liner notes and artwork, took up less space, weighed less. A true fumble.

 

CDs are coming back a bit.
