Got it! Sneaky sneaky they tried to default to the color in color.

God and an hour ago I made a post about needing to get rid of records and now here I am, pre-ordering another record lol

Also really glad I held off on the UO variant because I like this one better and it was cheaper. Win-win.

I still can’t believe a single LP shipped costs $37 (snoogins)

Same thing for Hellogoodbye, if I recall correctly. I had to switch to the limited variant.

And sold out. It lasted a few longer than Hellogoodbye.

Yeah I'm pretty sure they did that. My buddies didn't buy HGB and were just now mentioning how they almost ordered the wrong variant!

Also that took longer to sell out than HGB.

I think I'll pass on the TEN vinyl. Need to save the moolah. It's a great album, I just don't really return to it all that much. Now if it were the I Can Make a Mess debut...

  17. Definitely was online early enough for the limited, definitely clicked the photo for the limited, definitely didn't notice it was defaulting to the other version :crylaugh:

Doesn't matter much to me, but is funny.

so when did y'all start collecting records? it seems from a lot of posts in here the majority of you got into it really late.

Me? This year. lol. But I did originally collect in the '00's, then sold said collection in the '10's. Been regretting it ever since.

Started buying vinyl around 2011/2012, but framed them and used them as artwork on my walls lol. Didn’t really start collecting and playing them until 2016.

Edit: Can't remember if Good for Me or Under Soil and Dirt was first, but got both around the same time.

i know people who do the wall art thing, or did it, never understood it. i only did it with my first purchase (i didn't have a record player at the time)

  25. The first record I ever bought myself was Blue Skies, Broken Hearts... Next 12 Exits by The Ataris. I got it at their tent at Warped Tour 2001 and the whole band signed it. It wasn't until only like 15 years ago though when I finally got myself a record player and then really started collecting, haha.
