Too broke to buy and I’m

I was listening to Orchid this morning at 4am on the way to work.

I don't really have any skramz in my collection. That'd be bad news on the wallet lol.

 

I was in Montreal last week with my family. 2 shops within a 15 minute walking distance. I didn't go to any.

 

I am the patron saint of lost causes...

Here's my additions this week.

 

Between Gaslight and Chris Stapleton and a few other things, I…bought a lot of vinyl this week.

 

I gave my friend my old turntable and his first vinyl purchase was GotG v2 so for his birthday tomorrow I got him GotG v1, gotta complete the set

 

Pick ups from the PO box this evening.

 

Excited for that Green Day, but mine won’t ship until AFI comes out in oct

 

I had AFI preordered with 1234Go when it dropped in the spring, but cancelled after I went a little crazy during RSD.

Ordered Green Day and then reordered AFI the night before they found out it was delayed until October, irony. They were going to combine my orders until they told me it was delayed, so I just threw in the money to have Green Day shipped now.

 

I had them combine them, then found out it was delayed. Pain.

Nice haha. NOW 6 in 2000 blew my mind as an 8 year old because I didn’t understand why a song on a cd my uncool dad had (U2) was on the super cool NOW cd my neighbor had with Creed and Destiny’s Child and *NSYNC and shit

 

Has SYG- This Will Be the Death of Us always been available?! I could've swore I checked a couple months ago and it was long out of print and now they're everywhere.

 

It was just repressed in April I believe

 

Oh neat. I don't know why I randomly looked it up today but I was pleasantly surprised, as that's one release I've always wanted. Glad it doesn't appear to have been a shower limited release as copies are everywhere.

One more piece of nostalgia down.

Yeah up onto recently This Will Be the Death of Us was hard to find; I sold a white copy of it for $90 a couple months ago just before the repress came. I have the tour pressing of it which is sick.

 

Holy shit. I was gonna grab somewhere else but you can't beat this, that's an insane price! Good looking out for real.

Haha those were the prices I was seeing too and was like welllllllll. Had no idea a repress was coming but super glad it did.



Apparently the TDWP are shipping right now so I'm hoping once Dear Love gets into scalper's hands they'll be looking to offload. And I'll be ready to buy :|
