Is it true that you typically don't want your speakers/subwoofer on the same shelf/surface as your turntable/records because the vibrations are potentially bad for them?

 

I’m waiting for the Turtles in Time soundtrack to come out in December

 

If I put a glass down on the same surface of my player it affects it. I can’t imagine what the subwoofer would do haha

 

makes perfect logical sense to me. And not just from the vibrations

 

I thought they just couldn’t be built into the player like a Crosley from Target

Yeah I looked at the pressing numbers afterwards and laughed as the pressing numbers became less as the variants got more basic.

I'm a sucker for "more frills" and it's MxPx so I had to nab the die cut!

 

I went with the 180g black and canary yellow. I will forever have a weak spot for solid colored LPs that pull from the album art.

I've been trying to cut back a little after buying 141 records from April to June, partly because I'm getting a vinyl privacy fence next month and yikes. So yes, I'm spending less on vinyl so I can spend more on vinyl.

 

Haha that's awesome. Adult life, I feel ya! I've been "trying" to curb my spending as well. The conversion and shipping to Canada doesn't help the hobby either.

I still want to order the MovMou and Hit the Lights releases, I held back from ordering the two Daphne Loves Derby drops today as well.

Coal Chamber dropped a box set yesterday. It never ends.

 

I’ve been trying to cut back because I want to save to go to NYC where I will invariably buy more vinyl. But not buying vinyl while I wait to buy vinyl is tuff

 

There's been a ton of stuff I already have on black getting colored re-presses lately, and it's been so hard not to double dip. The VMP Death Cabs, Age of Adz, Deftones s/t, and HAIM to name a few.
