Wack. I guess I’d be excited about Kings Of Pop if I didn’t already own it

 

Why is shipping so expensive on these?? Shipping a record as media mail with USPS is like... $4

Aaaaand why are these new ones each $29 when the last batch they did were all $24?

Id be more excited if they found some "A New Found Glory Stupid Games Are For Stupid People" hoodie in XL... I'd buy that again in a heartbeat!

Saw the shipping price for the hellogoodbye ep and noped the heck outta there.

 

Disappointed and yet also relieved that they sold out before I could get in there. I absolutely do not need to be spending about $45 on a 5-song EP right now.

 

These are just leftovers from previous pressings right?

 

Oh shit, I just got Penelope Scott and Camp Cope for ten bucks each and I can go pick them up in store so I don't even have to pay for shipping

I only started collecting relatively recently but I thought $30 for a vinyl was pretty average? Is it a lot because these are older releases? I do try to avoid paying for shipping whenever I can, and $15 for a single 10" does sound pretty ridiculous.

 

Just bought Kings of Pop a while back when someone was selling it for a good price on ebay. But I wanted Allister.

Yea, both albums are great. Would’ve liked both. Hellogoodbye is decent, but eh.

Still waiting on the Houston Calls vinyl. I checked and they now say late June. So, tomorrow it’ll ship? Haha

 

With all those upstream deals or whatever they were called with Geffen and Sanctuary I wonder what they actually have rights to from their own material.

I'll fund the rest of the operation by continuously pressing the hit albums from this storied catalog. On the topic of the EPs how does everyone want those presented? 10" or 12" single-sided?

Yeah i got direction, boats and yellowcards one for the kids for all 6 bucks each because no one was buying them after awhile, i was like, yes. such a steal, i started collecting around 2011 so it was right when everything was starting. i saw YC pressed like 15 variants for one of the kids recently, and it brought me back to the old pressing selling for 6 bucks lol

Kind of a non vinyl flex but I wrote to Krist from Nirvana and he wrote me back! I was looking to buy a nirvana album to put this with but it’s crazy how expensive early presses are. I also didn’t know how few times they had pressed in utereo especially.

 

That rules!

 

Sound of Vinyl cancelled one of my orders, unable to fulfill. I figured it would happen as they kept moving the expected ship date around. Still hoping I get my “freebie.”

 

did some crate digging to kill some time today. this shop is dangerous.



paid $80 for all of these, had three more I had to leave behind (Krallice 1st pressing, new WITTR, Sempiternal), but didn't have more cash.

I've gotta find out who's cashing in Foxing records at this store and become their friend (I've picked up Stranger in the Alps, Harmlessness, New Bermuda, Ixora, Material Control, and a few others at the gold mine that is the New Arrivals Used section here in the past, too)
