Went with Aretha Franklin's Spirit in the Dark for next month's VMP because I was inspired by whoever posted in here about choosing albums they wouldn't normally listen to to widen their taste. Listening to the album for the first time now on Spotify and it's excellent. Happy with my choice.

I have this in the box set and used to own the first press... I don't usually buy multiple variants but this is a Top 3 album for me.... Hmmmmmm

 

Oh yea, so, if anyone ordered the new Andrew McMahon album from an indie selling hot pink, you should check with the seller. Mine emailed me today saying the hot pink variant is an Urban Outfitters exclusive and they are just getting the yellow variant. They said they could do yellow or refund, I already had the yellow ordered so I took the refund.

Damn. That Simple Plan album only had two other variants and Discogs has both for over $500. Damn. Glad I jumped on that.

 

I remember the red variant all over the place in stores here in Canada. It goes for so much now.

I was thinking the other day this needs a repress...My 7 year old likes this album.

I guess so. I didn’t even look. But somebody on Facebook said it had 19 tracks, so I’m down for whatever extras it has.
